Wyoming Valley Motors, a local car dealership, recently held a ‘Cars for Cures Sale-A-Thon' to benefit the Scranton chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The dealership donated $100 for every car sold between Aug. 18 and Aug. 31. All three Wyoming Valley Motors locations in Kingston and Larksville participated in event. The money will be used to provide programs and summer camps to area children living with neuromuscular diseases. The donations will also help in the research of neuromuscular diseases and the cost for clinical visits and expenses. For more information about the ‘Cars for Cures Sale-A-Thon,' contact Wyoming Valley Motors at 288-7411. At the check presentation, from left, are Ed Brighthaupt, Jeff Miller, Steve Ubaldini, Gina Getts, Dave Pinkowski, Tom Thompson, Jon Ubaldini and Anne Bazil.
