The Nuremberg Community Players are holding open auditions on Tuesday, April 21, and Wednesday, April 22, for their upcoming production “The Wizard of Oz.” Auditions will be held at 7 p.m. on both days at the new home of the Nuremberg Community Players, the former St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 283 Hazle St., Nuremberg.

There are roles available for men, women and children of all ages. A pianist is also needed.

The theatre’s free summer theater workshop for children will be incorporated into the show. Children must audition if they would like a singing or a speaking part. All other children just need to sign up at auditions.

Those wishing to audition need not prepare anything in advance. They will be provided something to read or sing at the audition.

This will be the very first production in the new theater. Performance dates are June 26-28.
