The local average price at the pump jumped slightly overnight, but is unchanged from last week’s average.

AAA Mid-Atlantic provided the following figures for today’s average gas prices:

• Wilkes-Barre area gas average at $2.80 today, up 2 cents overnight and unchanged in the last week. Diesel at $3.23 today, unchanged overnight.

• Pennsylvania gas average at $2.83 today, up a penny overnight and up a penny in the last week. Diesel at $3.24 today, down a penny overnight.

• National gas average at $2.71 today, unchanged overnight, up 5 cents in the last week. Diesel at $2.88 today, up a penny overnight.
