FALLS: The Falls Active Adult Center, State Route 92, Exeter Township, will be distributing farmers market vouchers 9-11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24.

There will be a celebration on Thursday, June 25, in honor of Helen Dietrich’s 100th birthday. A vocal musical concert with George Rittenhouse will be held 10:45-11:45 a.m.

MOUNTAIN TOP: The Mountain Top Social Club will meet at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, at Father Nolan School day room at St. Jude Church.

At trip to Mount Airy Casino is planned for Thursday, June 25. Another trip is planned to Hunterdon Hills Playhouse in New Jersey on Friday, June 26. Both trips will leave at 8:15 a.m. from the side parking lot of St. Jude Church. The Wilkes-Barre passengers will be picked up at 8:45 a.m. in the parking lot on the side street. PLYMOUTH: The Senior Citizens Friendship Club of St. Mary’s will meet at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 29, at the Holy Child School Building, Willow Street. Servers are Carol Smith, Catherine Smith, Ed Snitko, Dorothy Sullivan and Jane Thomas.

At the previous meeting chance winners were Louise Bednarski, Joan Natishan and Al Perlis. Special project winners were Romaine Volovicz and Mary Larko.

New member Ann Kotch was welcomed into the club.

There will be a trip on Saturday, Aug. 29, to Hunterdon Hills Playhouse in New Jersey to see “Country Connections,” starring Tim Gillis and “Crazy Elmer,” who are well known for their performances in Branson, Missouri. WILKES-BARRE: The Jewish Community Center, 60 S. River St., is sponsoring an AARP Driver Safety Refresher Class 1-5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5, in the Rifkin Library. This class is open only to those who have taken an AARP Driver Safety course within the last three years. No exams will be taken and the entire course will take place in the classroom with a focus on refreshing the participant’s knowledge and ways to adapt to vision changes and hearing and physical flexibility. Completion of the course may result in a reduction in auto insurance premiums during the next three years. Spouses who both drive the same vehicle and have previously taken the course should both take this course to be eligible for the continued discount. The cost is $20 or $15 for AARP members. Checks for the total amount can be made payable to AARP and should be brought to the class with a pen or pencil and current driver’s license.
