Mary Ellen Lisman M.D. and Ryan Scott Wilson M.D. were united in the Sacrament and Covenant of marriage on May 28 at Saint Nicholas Church, Wilkes-Barre. Deacon William Behm celebrated the nuptial ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Jacob and Karen Lisman, Mountain Top. The groom is the son of Scott Wilson, Easton, and Connie Perry, Northampton.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Jacob Lisman. The bride chose her first cousin, Laura Lisman, as her maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Anne Riccetti, the sister of the bride and Rebecca Conrad, a friend of the bride. The flower girls were two nieces of the bride, Mia Lisman and Grace Lisman.

The groom chose his friend, Kevin Schoch, as best man. Groomsmen were Christopher Hall and Robert Corey, friends of the groom.

Scriptural readings were given by Caitlin and Jennifer Perry, sisters of the groom. Jennifer Perry also performed a piano solo. Ed Loch, who arranged the music and played the pipe organ, was accompanied by violinist Lynn Hurst and vocalist Alyssa Golden.

The bride was honored at a bridal shower hosted by her mother, mother-in-law and bridesmaids at Wyoming Valley Country Club. A wedding rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at Theodora’s Restaurant. An evening dinner reception was held at Sand Spring Country Club.

The bride is a graduate of Meyers High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in both chemistry and neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh. She was awarded the Doctor of Medicine degree from The Commonwealth Medical College, Scranton. She completed a three year residency in Primary Care Medicine at Rutgers University’s Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, New Brunswick, New Jersey. Dr. Mary Ellen Lisman is an assistant professor at Penn State Hershey Medical School.

The groom is a graduate of Northampton High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Delaware. He was awarded the Doctor of Medicine degree from The Commonwealth Medical College, Scranton. He completed a three year residency in internal medicine at Rutgers University’s Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, New Brunswick, New Jersey. Dr. Ryan Wilson is a cardiology fellow at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.

The couple enjoyed a honeymoon week at the island of St. Lucia. They reside in Hershey.
