Alexandra Svab and John D. Isaac were united in marriage June 18, 2016 at Huntsville Golf Club, Dallas. President Judge Honorable Richard M. Hughes, III, performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Lanette Svab, Bear Creek. She is the granddaughter of Robert and Leona Svab, Hudson and the late Robert and Loretta Zavada, Miners Mills.

The groom is the son of Lewis and Judy Isaac, Dallas. He is the grandson of Rebecca Isaac, Dallas and the late Lewis William Isaac and the late Jack and Genevieve Dana, Shavertown.

The bride was escorted down the aisle and given in marriage by her father. She chose her friend, Madeline Grant, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Julia Eichhorn, cousin of the bride; Katie Eichhorn, cousin of the bride and Jennifer Wyandt, friend of the bride. Lila Ann Raub, niece of the bride was flower girl.

The groom chose his cousin, Matthew Isaac as the best man. Groomsmen were Gerald Grady, Chuck Boytin and Matthew Goeringer, friends of the groom.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Coughlin High School. She graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in communications and sociology. She is employed by Misericordia University, the Pauly Friedman Art Gallery as assistant to the director and curator of permanent collections.

The groom is a 2001 graduate of Dallas High School. He graduated from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Mr. Isaac is a former Captain of the United States Marine Corps and combat veteran. He is employed by Apex Tree and Earth LLC.

They reside in Bear Creek Township with their two dogs, Mocha and Junie.
