NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — New Jersey authorities say a 17-year-old boy has been arrested on a murder charge in the shooting death of a Pennsylvania man in Newark last year.

The Essex County prosecutor says the teenager was arrested Friday for the death of 59-year-old Jesus Santi. Santi was shot August 27 while in Newark.

The teenager was remanded to the Essex County Youth House and is to appear in the Family Division of Essex County Superior Court next week. His name was not released because of his age.
