STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) — A central Pennsylvania woman is again seeking a new trial in the 2009 murder of her husband, a father of four.

The Centre Daily Times (http://bit.ly/1r9HpCX) says a hearing is scheduled June 13 in Centre County to consider arguments that 34-year-old Mirinda Boob’s attorney was ineffective.

That man, Ed Blanarik, has since died.

Boob is serving life in prison in the August 2009 murder of 29-year-old Samuel Boob. Authorities said Boob lured the victim into his Potter Township garage, where an accomplice shot him to death. Both Boob and the other man are serving life terms.

Boob’s new attorney maintains that her former attorney should have moved to enforce a plea agreement in the case that called for less than 15 years in prison.
