PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Philadelphia police are trying to sort out an incident that left two men with stab wounds in Center City.

Police say the incident happened about 3 a.m. Friday.

Police arrived to find one man stabbed in the hand and another stabbed 13 times in the back.

The man with the back wounds was taken to a hospital and police say he’s in stable condition. The other man was taken into custody, but not immediately charged.

Police haven’t released the names of either man.

Police say they found a purse and other items on the street near the incident, which happened close to a 7-Eleven store.
