Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Petroski, of Wyoming, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 4, 2017.
They were married Feb. 4, 1967 at the Immaculate Conception Church, in Scranton, by Msgr. Arthur Kaschenbach. Maid of honor was Mrs. Patricia Montalbano, sister of Mrs. Petroski; and best man was the late Jim Dougherty. Ushers were Bill Petroski, brother of Mr. Petroski; and Jim Eagen, cousin of Mrs. Petroski.
The couple have two daughters, Meg Murgallis (Terry) and Cindy Gegaris (Chris). They have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Petroski is the former Mary Jeanne McCarthy, daughter of the late Patrick and Mary McCarthy, of Scranton.
Mr. Petroski is the son of the late Peter and Margaret Petroski, of Wyoming.
They celebrated their anniversary with a mass yesterday at St. Monica’s Church, in West Wyoming, and dinner at Kevin’s Restaurant, in Kingston.
