NANTICOKE – Police have reported the following incidents:

• Wayne Sullivan, 39, of Jirkin Street, was cited for public drunkenness after police discovered him staggering along the railroad bed behind Oplinger Towers on Sunday.
• Georgette Cypher, 45, of East Ridge Street, was cited with harassment after he allegedly made threatening calls to a woman’s cell phone and her place of employment Friday.
• Denise Rittenhouse, 35, of East Ridge Street, was cited with public drunkenness after police were called to the 200 block of West Church Street where Rittenhouse was arguing with her sister and niece Friday.
WILKES-BARRE TWP. – Police have reported the following incidents:
• Adam Iseman, 18, of Wilkes-Barre, will be charged with a summary count of defiant trespass after police said they observed him on the roof of Office Max, Wyoming Valley Mall, at 3:30 a.m. Monday.
• David Borowski reported someone smashed the passenger-side window on his 2006 Toyota and stole an Apple iPod worth $40 at Bed, Bath & Beyond in the Arena Hub Plaza at 5:52 p.m. Thursday.
• Karma Ahmad reported someone smashed the passenger-side window on his Chevrolet Tahoe and stole a DVD player worth $599 at Bed, Bath & Beyond, Arena Hub Plaza, at 5:52 p.m. Thursday.
• A 15-year-old female from Stillwater was arrested on shoplifting charges after she stole $111 worth of merchandise from J.C. Penney, Wyoming Valley Mall, at 3:40 p.m. Thursday.
• Sandra Stephensky, 64, of Hanover Township, was arrested on shoplifting charges after she allegedly stole $78 worth of merchandise from J.C. Penney, Wyoming Valley Mall, at 2:03 p.m. Thursday. She was charged with retail theft and taken to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $1,000 bail.
WILKES-BARRE – Police have reported the following incidents:
• Joseph McHugh, 22, of 56 Brookside St., was charged with possession of marijuana, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct on Thursday, July 26. McHugh allegedly was caught smoking marijuana on Harry Street and was apprehended after a foot chase in a nearby patch of woods.
• Barbara Yasenchak, of Plymouth, was cited with a traffic violation on Sunday after allegedly failing to stop at a red light and entering the intersection on West Market and River Streets, hitting Roseann Kozich, of Plains. Both Yasenchak’s 2002 Saturn and Kozich’s 2000 Hyundai were towed from the scene with moderate damage. Both drivers, along with Kozich’s passenger, John Kozich were transported to local medical facilities with minor injuries.
