The Beta Sigma chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International awarded a $1,000 grant to Melissa Smith, a junior education major at Misericordia University. A resident of New Tripoli, PA, she is active in many school activities including humanity service trips, a vacation Bible school teacher and math teacher at St. Jude’s, and a member of the psychology and education clubs. She is also a campus ministry TEAM leader, a member of the Psi Chi International honor society and has been on the dean’s list every semester.
