Kathleen Nestorick, of Wilkes-Barre, recently donated a piece of property in Nanticoke to Wyoming Valley Habitat for Humanity. Kathleen chose to donate the property as a way to honor her late husband, Walter “Waju” Nestorick. “My husband would love the idea of giving a low-income family the opportunity for a good home,” said Nestorick.

Karen Evans Kaufer, executive director, Wyoming Valley Habitat for Humanity said, “We are delighted Kathleen chose to donate the property to Habitat. We will be able to build a simple, decent home on this piece of land to sell to a local, low-income family. This type of support allows Habitat to continue its mission to eliminate poverty housing in Wyoming Valley.”
