WILKES-BARRE — The Disney Junior television show “The Octonauts” is embarking on its first live United States tour, and at 6 p.m. Nov. 16 Barnacles, Kwazii, Peso and the rest of the gang will appear on stage at Wilkes-Barre’s F.M. Kirby Center.

The show, dubbed “Octonauts and the Deep Sea Volcano Adventure,” is described as “… a high-tech production featuring costume characters and animated projections to a massive screen on stage.” Along with the tour, the Octonauts franchise is gearing up for new episodes throughout the year, as well as a “4D movie adventure.”

Kirby Center members can pre-order tickets beginning 10 a.m. Thursday, April 28. General sale begins 10 a.m. Saturday, April 30. Tickets can be purchased at kirbycenter.org, in-person at the Kirby Center box office or by phone at (570) 826-1100.
