The Luzerne County Community College Computer Information Systems Department recently recognized National Court Reporting/Captioning Week at the college. Court reporting students participated in mini-competitions and winners earned prizes from a drawing. Prizes were donated by LCCC, PCRA (PA Court Reporters Association), the LCCC Alumni Association, and Stenograph. As part of the celebration, LCCC student Ryan Freedman was awarded a $500 scholarship from the PCRA for his essay submission to a statewide competition.
