WILKES-BARRE — A registered sexual offender pleaded guilty in Luzerne County Court for failure to comply with registration requirements.
Billy Joe Ribble, 43, was charged by Harveys Lake police in March when he absconded from a registered address on Carnation Lane.
Ribble listed the Carnation Lane address in April 2023, when he last complied with registration requirements, according to court records.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police Megan’s Law website, Ribble was convicted in another state of sexual conduct against a child in April 2003.
Ribble pleaded guilty to failure to comply with registration requirements before Judge David W. Lupas.
Ribble, of Keller Road, Sweet Valley, is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 4.
