The calendar says fall, but it will feel like old man winter has come early with temperatures dipping the high 20’s the next two days.
The National Weather Service reported it was 28 degrees at 6:54 a.m. at the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre International Airport.
A freeze warning is in effect until 9 a.m. today, but temperatures should reach a high of 44 degrees with a slight chance of a rain shower after 2 p.m. Temperatures dip down to 26 degrees tonight with a partly cloudy sky.
Monday will be sunny with a high of 49 degrees and a low of 38 degrees in the evening time while Tuesday will feel like October again with a high of 63 degrees and a low of 44 degrees with a mostly cloudy night.
