CLINTON TWP. — An Exeter man was arrested Saturday in Wyoming County after he threatened two people with a knife and baseball bat, state police said.

Jacob Pasquale Desarno, 23, arrived at the Factoryville home of the alleged victims, a 37-year-old male and 33-year-old female, armed with the weapons, police said. Desarno confronted the pair with the weapons, then engaged in “a physical altercation” with the male, according to authorities.

A trooper told the Times Leader the altercation sparked from a domestic dispute between Desarno and his sister, the 33-year-old. The alleged victims, who were named, did not suffer any injuries, the trooper said. Desarno later turned himself in to police.

He faces two counts of aggravated assault, four counts of simple assault, and two counts each of reckless endangerment and making terroristic threats. He was jailed at the Wyoming County prison, but posted $25,000 bail Monday and was released, court records show.

He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Aug. 8 before Wyoming County District Judge David K. Plummer.
