A 29-year-old woman was walking on Carey Avenue just after 6 p.m. when the suspect approached her, threatened her with a knife and then raped her, according to police.

The woman’s condition could not be determined Monday. No further details were immediately available.

Police are searching for the suspect, described as a 5-foot-8 black male with a small build and shaved head. Police said he was wearing small square glasses and riding a mountain bike. He was about 28-30 years old, police said.
