HUNLOCK CREEK — An area man has is facing rape and other charges, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Police said an investigation uncovered Timothy Allen Kintz, 38, of Main Road, had sexual contact with a 7-year-old child. The Times Leader does not identify victims of sexual assault.

Kintz allegedly preformed oral sex and committed other acts on the alleged victim. The incident occurred approximately two to three years ago at Kintz’s home.

He was arraigned Friday on charges of rape, sexual intercourse with a child, indecent assault and corruption of minors in front of District Judge John Hasay and was able to post bail.

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for 10 a.m. Feb. 8 in front of Hasay.
