Hazlet coached the WVC’s smallest school to the WVC Division 3A-A title by defeating six WVC 3A teams and a WVC 4A squad. The inexperienced Rangers started the year 1-3, but ran off six consecutive wins to capture the division before losing to Lackawanna Trail in the District 2 Class A title games. In his two seasons at Northwest, Hazlet has an 18-8 record.
