LA PLUME– Keystone College students in Associate Professor Brenda Lidy’s events planning class will conduct its Cupcake Challenge from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 3 in Evans Hall in the Hibbard Campus Center on campus.
The event was originally planned for last December, but was rescheduled due to inclement weather.
Keystone College students who participate in the event can donate $4 in advance and $5 at the door and members of the general public can donate $10 to sample and vote for the best cupcakes submitted by several local entrants. Proceeds will benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
Tickets for the event may be purchased at the door or in advance by e-mailing [email protected].
Participating bakeries include Keystone College culinary arts students, Sodexo, Pittston Bakery, PersoNellized Bakery in Carbondale and Creative Cookies by Jenny in Clarks Summit.
