WILKES-BARRE — Ace Frehley, original KISS guitarist and accomplished solo artist, is making his way to Wilkes-Barre. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will perform at 8 p.m. on April 15 at the F.M. Kirby Center, 71 Public Square.

Frehley, whose seminal work with KISS launched him into superstardom, has had a string of well-received solo efforts since his 1978 solo debut, which produced smash hits “Into the Night” and “New York Groove.” Other commercial successes included 2009’s Anomaly and 2014’s Space Invader, which reached number No. 2 on the rock charts, according to a press release from the Kirby.

Tickets to see Frehley go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 5 and will be available through the Kirby Center box office, online at www.kirbycenter.org, and via charge by phone at 570-826-1100. Tickets cost $29.50, $39.50 and $75 plus fees with limited pit seating.

There will be a pre-sale for Kirby members beginning at 10 a.m. on Feb. 3.
