DALLAS — Four graduating seniors from Sue Hand’s Imagery, representing three area high schools, will hold their senior art exhibit at Sue Hand’s Imagery, 35 Main St. May 18-19.

The 12th grade students include: Alex Major, Shavertown; Kelsey Monahan, Wyoming; Anthony Nardone, Shavertown; and Micaela Payne, Dallas. They will be joined by five other high school students from the Wyoming Valley and Mountain Top areas.

Each student will exhibit up to 20 pieces of artworks, a retrospective of their artistic endeavors throughout their years at Sue Hand’s Imagery. All nine students have received numerous art awards for their drawings and paintings in many varied art contests and exhibits. Several of the students have studied art with Sue Hand since elementary school. The graduates will be pursuing careers in various branches of art including fine art, interior design and animation, as well as careers in biology, engineering, physics and math education.

The public is invited to view the exhibit from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, May 18 and from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 19. A meet-the-artist reception and graduation ceremony will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 18.
