PLYMOUTH — Police say that a body was pulled from the Susquehanna River on Saturday afternoon near Bridge Street.

The Plymouth Fire and Rescue teams were dispatched at around 2:40 p.m. after a 911 call identified a body on the banks of the river. State police were called in and took over the investigation, which is still pending.

“All we have at this time is that there is a body,” Plymouth police Officer Ryan Zielinski said Saturday. Further requests for information were unsuccessful.
