WILKES-BARRE — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump will appear at a rally in Wilkes-Barre Township Monday, his website confirmed Tuesday.
Trump is scheduled to speak at the Mohegan Sun Area at Casey Plaza. The doors for the event will open at 3 p.m. and the event is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
U.S. Rep. Lou Barletta’s campaign said the Hazleton congressman will also speak at the event.
Trump will be in the area the day after Sunday’s presidential debate with Democrat Hillary Clinton. The second presidential debate will be held Sunday at 8 p.m. CT at Washington University in St. Louis. The debate will be moderated by CNN anchor Anderson Cooper and ABC Chief Global Affairs Correspondent Martha Raddatz.
Those interested in attending Monday’s rally at the arena can reserve up to two tickets per person online at Trump’s campaign website.
Previously, Trump drew some 11,000 people to a rally in April at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre Township. He also drew more than 1,000 to a rally in July at Lackawanna College in Scranton.
