Marguerite E. Dubil, 81, of Meadows Apartments, Dallas died Sunday at home.
   
Born in Shavertown, Jan. 11, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Edward
and Emma (Andrews) Kocher. She resided in Lehman before moving to the Meadows
Apartments 12 years ago. She worked for Lake Lehman School District as a
cafeteria worker and at Dallas Elementary School through the Green Thumb
Program before retiring six years ago. She belonged to Lehman United Methodist
Church, the Lady Toby Rebekah Lodge 514, IOOF, Lehman, Dallas American Legion
Women’s Auxiliary, United Methodist Women, Patriotic Brotherhood of America,
Lehman Volunteer Fire Company, Ladies Auxiliary and was a volunteer at the
Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas.
    She was preceded in death by husband, Michael, brothers, John, Franklin and
Edward Kocher.
   
Surviving are sons, Michael Sr., Wilkes-Barre; Edward Sr., Lehman; Ronnie,
Wilkes-Barre; daughters, Bonnie Konigus, Lake Silkworth; Debbie Evans, Lehman;
10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Marion Williams
Honesdale; and Katherine Fox, Lehman.
   
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday from Curtis L. Swanson
Funeral Home, Inc., corner of Routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek with Rev. Bonnie
McGraw and Rev. W. William Kennard officiating. Interment will be in the
Kocher Cemetery, Ruggles.
   
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
