President Oscar Lollis and the members of The Poconos Chapter of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees held a ‘Pat Amos Honorary Luncheon’ on Sept. 26 to honor Patricia M. Amos, Pennsylvania Federation district vice president. The luncheon was held at the Amber Inn and Steakhouse in Swiftwater. Amos is serving her 20th year as the district vice president. She also served 20 years (resigning last December) as president of the Wilkes-Barre Chapter 342. Lollis presented her with a plaque of recognition. Guest speakers were the Pennsylvania Federation president Anthony Filardi, treasurer Stanley Ostwinch, secretary Virginia Giordano and her husband Frank, and members of the Pike and Wayne counties Chapter 2259. Amos’ two daughters, Pat and Paula, and two granddaughters, Jill and Mary Pat Price, also attended. From left, seated, are: Giordano and Amos. Standing: Ostwinch, Filardi and Lollis.
