STUDENTS COMPLETE INTERNSHIPS — Fifty-eight junior and seniors of King’s
College recently completed internships for the spring 1996 semester. These
students represented 17 different academic majors and were placed at 51
different employment sites throughout Pennsylvania as well as in Arizona and
Florida. For more information on participating in the King’s College
Experiential Learning Program, contact Chris W. Bedwick, director of the
Center for Experiential Learning, at 826-5913. Applications are now being

THIRD AVENUE PARTICIPATES IN READING PROJECT — Third Avenue School
recently participated in the Luzerne County Reading Council’s Parents and
Reading project. Students and parents agreed to read together for at least 15
minutes per day for five of seven days throughout a four week period. Eligible
participants had the opportunity to win a prize in a random drawing and
received Certificates of Reading Achievement. They are pictured, first row,
