SCRANTON —The Lackawanna County Coroner’s office has identified the woman that was found dead in a tent on Montage Mountain at about 1 p.m. on Sunday.

The woman was identified as Nicole Bain, 30, of Hanover.

An email from the Lackawanna County Coroner’s Office indicated that the autopsy on Bain was complete, but that further toxicology testing will be required to determine the cause and manner of death.

Investigators say she was attending the week-long Peach Music Festival when she was found.

She was pronounced dead at the scene by Chief Deputy Coroner Jessie VanDeusen.

A woman attending the week-long Peach Music Festival was discovered dead in a tent on Montage Mountain at about 1 a.m. today, according to a release from Lackawanna County Coroner Tim Rowland.

She was pronounced dead at the scene by Chief Deputy Coroner Jessie VanDeusen.

The festival is a four-day long music festival, which ended today.

In a press release, Rowland said that the Scranton Police Department and the Coroner’s Office were continuing to investigate the death of the York County woman, 30.

A forensic exam is scheduled for Monday.

The coroner’s office did not release the name of the woman, pending notification of family.
