WILKES-BARRE — Alfredo Cancel Maisonet, 36, of Wilkes-Barre was arrested on Tuesday after police determined he was wanted by the state of New Jersey.
Police said Maisonet was observed allegedly drinking an alcoholic beverage in an unauthorized area on South Main Street at 3:39 p.m. A records check indicated that he was wanted by New Jersey for criminal charges, but the police reported did not give specifics on the charges.
Maisonet taken into custody and jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility to await extradition to New Jersey.
