PLAINS TWP. — Luzerne County Community College hosted its 24th Annual Scholarship Dinner Tuesday evening at the Woodlands Inn and Resort.
Proceeds from the dinner provide scholarship funding, upgrades to instructional technology equipment and needs not funded through other sources.
The event included a cocktail hour, dinner, awards program and entertainment by comedian Tim Walkoe, grand prize winner of ABC TV’s “America’s Funniest People.”
