WILKES-BARRE — Vice President and Scranton native Joe Biden is coming to Wilkes University on Friday afternoon to campaign for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, according to Clinton’s official website.

The event will be held at 1:45 p.m. at University Center on Main Street, 169 S. Main St., Wilkes-Barre. Doors will open at 11:45 a.m.

“Vice President Biden will lay out the high stakes of November’s election for Pennsylvania families and highlight Clinton’s vision for an America that is stronger together, with an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top,” according to the website.

Members of the public interested in attending the event can sign up at Clinton’s campaign website.
