BEAR CREEK TWP. — An autopsy was performed Tuesday on a woman’s body found off White Haven Road Monday night as officials continue to probe the discovery, according to state police.

The Pennsylvania State Police deemed the incident a “homicide,” following their response to the scene. The state police issued a news release on Tuesday that said results of the autopsy will not be released until lab tests are finished.

Police said the deceased had dark colored/grayish hair.
