I am a lifelong Republican and will vote for Donald Trump, not out of party loyalty but because I am fed up with the actions of the majority of Republicans in office.
In my opinion, the last president of either party who put the welfare of the citizens of America ahead of his own agenda was Ronald Reagan.
Trump became rich through capitalism. He employs people, many at very high salaries. The Clintons became rich by feeding at the public trough for the last 40 or so years.
Having been a Marine, I can imagine how the people at the Benghazi compound felt, facing death and knowing that their calls for help were being ignored. Why? Another Hillary Clinton “mistake,” another lie: They were attacked because of a video!?
What about the millions of dollars from foreign countries pouring into the Clinton Foundation? Think they are doing it only to be “nice guys,” or are they making a down payment for future favors?
During the Korean War, a big problem was infiltrators: North Korean soldiers trying to get into the south. I wonder how many American soldiers died because of that, and I wonder how many Americans will die through Obama’s and Clinton’s open-door policy regarding today’s “refugees.”
America is a debtor nation; we are broke. Obama and the Democrats, past and present, have put the United States trillions of dollars in debt.
The Republicans have had the power for several years to stop or overturn much of the Democrats’ actions but instead wimped out. Now many of the same Republicans are against Trump?
Although I will stay a registered Republican, it is for primary voting only, and I would like to see the law changed to let any “independent” vote for any person in any election.
