I would like to thank the student volunteers from Wilkes University, the Meyers Quarterback Club, Tracy Hughes, Len Cornish, coaches Jeff Labatch and Dr. Mark Schiowitz, members of the Meyers football team, Larissa Cleary, and also Patty Hughes and Dave Lewis from the City of Wilkes-Barre for making the South Wilkes-Barre Residents’ Association annual cleanup such a great success.
As a result of the efforts of those mentioned, we were able to cleanup Miner Park, Charles Street Park, Firwood Park and Old River Road in South Wilkes-Barre.
