Hannah Ackers
Sr. Crestwood
Ackers led the Crestwood attack with team-highs in goals (60) and assists (16) while ranking second with 43 groundballs. Ackers was a second-team Times Leader all-star while playing midfield as a junior.
Katie Strohl
Jr. Lake-Lehman
Strohl, who spent time on the attack and at midfield, moved up from Times Leader second-team honors last year. She led the WVC Division 2 champs with 54 goals while winning 76 percent of her faceoffs and contributing 48 groundballs and 14 assists.
Jordan Kelly
Sr. Wyoming Area
Kelly helped the Warriors improve from one to three wins in the program’s second season with her play on the attack and at midfield. Kelly moved up a notch after earning second-team, all-star recognition last season.
Abby Straub
Jr. Wyoming Seminary
Straub made a successful transition from attack last season to midfield this season. She helped Wyoming Seminary’s strong transition game and remained one of the top offensive producers 0n the WVC and District 2 champion Blue Knights with 47 goals and 11 assists.
Brigid Wood
Sr. Coughlin
The midfielder completed her career as a four-year coaches’ all-star selection with 249 goals and 36 assists. She led all district players with 90 goals, along with 10 assists. Wood led Coughlin to two straight district final appearances.
Julia Gabriel
Soph. Wyoming Seminary
The defensive midfielder made a variety of contributions to the Blue Knights’ latest championship sweep. She scored 17 goals, added 4 assists, served as the team’s top faceoff option and was often assigned to stop a particular scoring threat in the opponent’s midfield.
Sam Brumagin
Soph. Crestwood
The sophomore developed into one of the top defensive players in the WVC, helping a previously struggling Crestwood team put together a late four-game win streak and take second-place Coughlin to overtime in the playoffs. Brumagin was third on the team with 32 groundballs and scored 7 goals.
Carey-Ann Leiper
Jr. Lake-Lehman
Led the defense for the WVC Division 2 champions. Keiper was credited with 40 groundballs, 16 takeaways, 14 faceoffs won, 7 interceptions and 5 goals scored.
Mia Raineri
Fresh. Wyoming Seminary
Raineri won the goalie job from the start of the season for the WVC and District 2 champions. She had more saves than goals allowed in each WVC and district game, including 12 saves with just 4 goals allowed in district final against Coughlin.
